HSV gG-1 IgG Test System

Intended Use

The ZEUS ELISA Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV) gG-1 IgG Test System is an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay intended for the qualitative detection of IgG antibodies to HSV-1 glycoprotein G envelope protein (gG-1) in human serum. This test sysytem is intended for sexually active adults and expectant mothers, as an aid for presumptively diagnosing Herpes Simplex 1, and is for in vitro diagnostic use.

Achieves true type-specificity by minimizing HSV 1 & 2 cross-reactivity, using the HSV gG-1 type-specific antigen.
